Congratulations to ServPro of Scottville for recently completing its FY22 Going PRO Talent Fund training plan to train seven employees in various areas. Trainings included fire and smoke damage restoration; trauma crime scene technician; fire and smoke restoration tech; and lead renovator certification.
This is ServPro's second time being awarded funds. They previously were awarded $4,600 in FY19 for duct cleaning, mold remediation, air systems cleaning and new-hire training. This year's award was for $3,022.
Although the 2022 (FY23) Going PRO Talent Fund application has come and gone, don't worry! A second application period this coming spring, opening May 1.
Eligible businesses can apply for up to $2,000 per individual (existing or new-hire employees) for training on a new or expanded skill. That amount increases to up to $3,500 per individual for USDOL registered apprentices.
