The Public Safety Careers Council of West Michigan is a network of first-responder organizations dedicated to advancing the public safety  industry throughout Lake, Mason, Mecosta, Newaygo, Oceana and Osceola counties.

Our goal? Attract and keep talent within west Michigan’s police, fire and EMT industries.

The collaborative is made up of employers and trainers who connect job seekers to rewarding careers in the public safety sector:

Employers identify opportunities for the most in-demand public safety careers. We call this an employer-led approach.

Training providers deliver the training and instruction to ensure job seekers have the skillsets they need to fill in-demand positions.

Job seekers receive training and a connection to employers’ in-demand positions and ultimately a rewarding career.
