National Apprenticeship Week In Michigan Is Scheduled For Nov. 17-23
Events Across Michigan, U.S. Celebrate 10-Years Of Engagement, Expansion & Innovation
National Apprenticeship Week (NAW) is celebrating a decade of impactful registered apprenticeship programs while highlighting the vital role in building a skilled workforce. NAW in Michigan from November 17-23, 2024.
This month, the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship also recognized statewide apprenticeship partners for exceeding commitments to modernize, diversify and expand Registered Apprenticeship while supporting the success of American workers, employers and communities across the country.
More than 220 NAW events are scheduled throughout the month, including several organized in part by Michigan Works! West Central. Events held locally are as follows:
- Meceola Tech Open House
- Corewell Health Ludington Hospital apprentice recognition
- NCRESA CTE Open House presentation (2 sessions)
- Oakview Medical Care Facility apprentice recognition
- Early Childhood Educator apprentice recognition
