Michigan Works! West Central Becomes 15th Partner In Youth Program

One of our four values at Youth Solutions is collaboration. We’re like a family, and we wouldn’t be successful without our partners across the state. This year, we are pleased to welcome West Central as our 15th Michigan Works! Affiliate Partner. Youth Solutions will be partnering with the Michigan Works! West Central staff to serve youth in the Jobs for Michigan’s Graduates (JMG) Out-of-School program. In their first year they have set the goal to serve 65 youth throughout their 6 county area, a number we hope to see climb in future years.

“Youth Solutions’ partnership with Michigan Works! West Central means brand new opportunities for young adults throughout the West Central region. We look forward to watching the transformation that will take place in our local youths, as we know they sometimes struggle to find their individual voices. We are honored to have this partnership with Youth Solutions to provide the Jobs for Michigan Graduates (JMG) Out-of-School program to help our young adults navigate entering the workforce. Youth Solutions has a proven track record of building young adults’ confidence throughout Michigan. We look forward to empowering youth to make informed decisions about their future, set goals that they only dreamed would be possible and build a strong connection to employers in the West Central Region.” - Shelly Keene, Executive Director of MW!WC

We are so excited to have the opportunity to work with Michigan Works! West Central and connect youth in their region with skills and resources needed to achieve a future beyond imagination.
